As you all know I have been trying to get table set up outside which starts with taking down the front cover. Well it doesn’t look like the weathers going to cooperate this weekend again although I am planning on removing the front cover. So let’s wish for good weather.

Well since I didn’t get any entries for the T-Shirt contest the first week I guess I’m going to be able to save myself some money. How easy is it to download an entry blank and bring it in? I had several people tell me the saw it and didn’t down load it well here’s your chance to do it again.

Sorry there was no blog last week got a little busy with catering jobs and found out at my age I now have allergies so I was a little wiped out.

Several of you have been stating that you have not been receiving your weekly emails. There can be several reasons for this, One of which is that you wrote like a 2nd grader when you filled out your card and I couldn’t read your writing. And second I entered it wrong when I turned it in to Bill the web builder. If you give me another card I will reenter your email address, and problem solved.

May 1st is our Ten Year Anniversary, no applause - just come in to eat, really not sure what to do. Probably be doing lots of menu specials or maybe more t-shirt give a ways. For those of you that didn’t know we serve dinners on Friday nights.

For those of you that don’t know my Friday night cook is Victor Molina. Thus the Victor of the Friday Dinner Specials. Victor has worked his way up thru the ranks here at J.B.P. to become an integral part of the restaurants cook staff.

He is responsible for all the great homemade breads we have on our menu and most of the soups. When you come in on Friday nights make sure to say Hi toVictor.

Just wanted to give you an update on our air conditioning status and outside seating for the upcoming summer season.

You will all be happy to know that we have been given a six ton unit that we hope to have installed before the hot weather hits. If there are any of you out there in the AIR CONDITION business or can recommend someone who is… we are looking for deals. I want to thank all of our loyal customers who have suffered through the summer heat with our old AC systems, but when I purchased the two units,  at the tune of $5000.00 four years ago I was told they were strong enough to keep the place cool, as we all know, that was wrong. I Promise this summer will be a lot more comfortable at The Restaurant. Please send me an email if you know someone who can help get this new equiptment installed and pumping cool air.

I Hope to have the front protective cover down and outside seating by the first of May.  But as we all know that depends on the weather or more importantly the winds which can reek havoc on the patio.

Don’t forget about us on Friday nights I know you would rather be upon the lake, but our patio is pretty nice in the summer
