The latest “Stewie” up date  Well I think we might have found a little girl friend for him. They met Sunday night and things seemed to go well. She bossed him around and he laid on his back and did everything but say yes dear.  She’s a little cocoa colored Poodle from Pittsford named “Lucy”  You know how these things are,  We still would like to match him up with a “Yorkie” or “Maltese” You never know if it’s going to take. (:

Well the Pumpkin pancakes started and they are going crazy. We sold so many we ran out of candied Pecans.

The weather has kept us from putting seats outside… hopefully this weekend.

We are trying something new! We are collecting “What’s to Love about James Browns’ Place?”. Let me know what you love about my restaurant or, dare I ask, what you don’t. This is it the weekend we start Pumpkin Pancakes, topped with Caramelized Pecans. We are also starting Porridge. Because of their popularity they will run every weekend through the Fall & Winter we are not rotating them.Outside seating will go as long as weather permits, so enjoy it while you can. As many of you know, we have a new Yorkie “Stewie”.  Karen,  my housemate and I are looking to Stud Him!  Yeah Baby!!      If you have a sweet young thing waiting to be deflowered give us a call, only ladies of Virtue, please.  No Trollops or Strumpets. Stewie doesn’t care he’s a ‘Randy little Pig” but his mother Karen insists.  (:

Hope you all had a great Labor Day. Mine was awesome, we were closed on Monday and I was invited down to Keuka Lake for the day. Stewie proceeded to run off and start fights with bigger dogs, every five minutes until we had to put him on a leash (:    I think we need to put him in front of a mirror so that he can see his actual size. He was raised with two Rottweilers.

Karen and I have decided to keep Harpers’ dad “Stewie” he is settling in nicely. He even has a new girlfriend “Lilly”. A 4½ Year old Pomeranian. He was so smitten, he rolled over on his back and showed her is Twig &  Berries.  Men are such “Pigs”!

Just a note on outside seating, it is very hard to play the guessing game with the weather.  You have to realize once we have seated you outside,  “as you insisted” and it starts raining. And you ask can we move inside? Sure, but where do we seat you when the inside is full. Can’t have it both ways.

I will be out this weekend.  I am going to the Annual Grey Fox Blue Grass Festival. Yes I said Blue Grass,   I know a Black Man at a Blue Grass Festival who would have thought.  Yes last year I was 1 of 5 people of color this year I’m hoping for more so that we can stage a “Race Riot” (Smile).  It’s a great time consisting of the 3-B’s.   Blue Grass, Beer & Buddies.  I can’t wait.

Still putting the finishing touches on the new Menus. I hope to have it completed soon. There are LOTS of new things again hope you’re hungry.

Still looking for color swatches for Clean up –Fix up.  Right now one of my employees, Jerilyn, said she can do it.  So I’m going with her suggestions for colors unless I get more ideas.
